Forum économique de Bergamo : La diaspora sénégalaise face aux défis de la Vision Sénégal 2050
Le Forum Économique de Bergamo, organisé par l’ONG Tringa sous l’impulsion d’Awa Thiam, figure de la société civile et militante engagée , a officiellement ouvert ses portes ce jeudi 20 juin pour trois jours d’échanges intenses autour du thème « Les Sénégalais de la Diaspora face aux défis de la Vision Sénégal 2050 ». Cet événement, qui se poursuivra jusqu’au 22 juin, réunit des acteurs clés du développement économique, politique et culturel entre le Sénégal et l’Italie.
La cérémonie d’ouverture a été marquée par la présence d’éminentes personnalités, dont Madame Maïmouna DIÈYE Ministre de la Famille et des Solidarités, son Excellence Monsieur Djibril Fofana Consul Général du Sénégal à Milan.
Dans son discours inaugural, Awa Thiam, coordinatrice de l’événement, a souligné le rôle crucial de la diaspora sénégalaise dans la réalisation des objectifs de long terme du Sénégal. « La diaspora n’est pas seulement une force financière, mais aussi une ressource intellectuelle et entrepreneuriale indispensable pour construire le Sénégal de demain », a-t-elle déclaré.
L'ONG TRINGA s’est donnée pour mission aussi de fédérer les énergies de la diaspora autour des grands chantiers de la Vision Sénégal 2050. L’organisation du forum à Bergamo s’inscrit dans cette dynamique, en créant un pont entre les Sénégalais d’Italie et les institutions nationales, mais aussi en valorisant le rôle des femmes et des jeunes dans le développement du pays.
Chaque année, la diaspora sénégalaise transfère près de 2,5 milliards de dollars vers le pays, soit environ 10 % du PIB national. Jusqu’ici, ces fonds sont principalement orientés vers la consommation et l’immobilier. Le forum de Bergamo vise à mobiliser ce potentiel en faveur d’investissements productifs, en mettant en avant des mécanismes tels que la création de fonds d’investissement dédiés, des incitations fiscales et un accompagnement administratif pour faciliter le retour et l’investissement des Sénégalais de l’étranger.
Durant trois jours, les participants,entrepreneurs, responsables associatifs, experts et représentants institutionnels échangeront sur les obstacles rencontrés par la diaspora, notamment l’accès au financement, la formalisation des entreprises et la création de partenariats avec les acteurs locaux . Des ateliers pratiques permettront d’identifier des solutions concrètes pour renforcer la contribution de la diaspora à la transformation économique et sociale du Sénégal.
Le forum économique de Bergamo s’annonce comme un moment fort pour renforcer les liens entre le Sénégal et sa diaspora, et pour transformer les ambitions de la Vision Sénégal 2050 en actions concrètes. À l’heure où le pays s’engage dans une transformation systémique et inclusive, la mobilisation de tous les Sénégalais, où qu’ils soient, apparaît plus que jamais comme la clé d’un avenir prospère et partagé.
Samedi 22 juin, le forum se transformera en Village-Expo sous le thème « L’avenir, c’est le Sénégal », où startups, investisseurs et porteurs de projets pourront réseauter et présenter leurs innovations. La clôture, dimanche, sera marquée par un cocktail diplomatique et une rencontre spéciale avec la jeunesse, symbole de la relève et de l’espoir pour le Sénégal de demain.
Ce forum s’affirme ainsi comme une plateforme incontournable pour mobiliser les compétences et les ressources de la diaspora autour des grands chantiers de la Vision Sénégal 2050. Reste à traduire ces engagements en actions concrètes pour un Sénégal plus résilient et compétitif.
